My Background
I received my Diploma of Acupuncture in 2019 from Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC. I also hold a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Alberta since 2015 and have 10 years experience as a Kinesiologist. Growing up I participated in many sports until narrowing down into volleyball in which I played provincially for 2 years and then went on to play at a Collegiate level.
Through personal experience and work experience, I have seen just how rewarding having an active lifestyle can be but also know how an injury can disrupt life, not only physically but mentally.
I am deeply passionate about the workings of the human body, the strength it provides, and how acupuncture can play a vital role in promoting and maintaining a free flow of energy, allowing the body to perform at its full potential

What Brought Me to Acupuncture?
Growing up, I was always involved in sports. From competitive swimming, basketball, volleyball and track and field, it kept me busy! I loved the active lifestyle and how the body could adapt.
I decided to pursue a Kinesiology degree. Once I graduated, I went on to work in a physiotherapist clinic, but something still was missing. I decided to change directions slightly and became a certified personal trainer. While I did like this career change, I kept thinking about doing more. I connected with an acupuncturist to learn more about needling and it sounded intriguing. I wanted to know more.
I took a chance and applied to schools. I am so glad I did! Acupuncture has amazed me and continues to do so. I love the holistic approach of TCM (traditional chinese medicine), that it looks at the body as a whole and not just one aspect.

My Other Interests
I love the outdoors so you'll find me camping, hiking or fishing! I always love a good adventure!
